100,000 visitors

Looking back, this humble little slice of the internet has been through quite a lot. There have been some good times and rough times, but it has consistently withstood the test of time as a small bastion of hope for daily drivers everywhere. I’ve been organizing a lot of things in my life lately, from my daily driver (which is really more of a project car than anything) to my finances and where I’d like to go in life. I won’t bore you with the details, but I’ve decided to put in a concerted effort into bringing Driven Daily’s quality to where it deserves to be.
I’ve been tracking some basic information about visitors who come here, and where they come from, what articles people tend to read or don’t read, and other meaningful data. I’ve put a lot of work into making this place an experience, rather than a meaningless automotive news source. However, all my work would be meaningless if not for you, the readers and commentators.
We (I can say that now, since we’re close) now count over 100,000 visitors. That’s 100,000 unique people. It’s a drop in the bucket, when compared to many other sites, but I’m just imagining how amazing it is that so many people have directed their computers here. I’m imagining people yelling at their screens while punching their keyboards, balking at the idea that someone on the internet dislikes stanced cars. I imagine people looking through a featured build and drawing some inspiration for their own daily from that.
All that aside, I wanted to celebrate. I want to make this a special place where enthusiasts’ everyday cars are spotlighted in all their bug-splattered glory. I want to offer something you can take with you. Next month, I’ll add a store where you can buy a few Driven Daily goodies (starting with stickers) at very reasonable prices.
The site is going through a few structural and design changes as well, in an effort to improve the viewing experience, and you’ll see more regular car features, as well as shop and tech articles.

Congrats (little late but still)! The site is truly so much more than a blog or auto news site – I think you are hitting the mark making it an experience and that’s why we all keep coming back!
