Corrado Sighting

While in Manchester NH, I spotted quite a few interesting daily drivers and snapped a few pictures while I had the chance. This VW Corrado was low enough that it barely qualifies as a daily driver in my book, but some of the other cars that I noted cruising around were definitely unfit for public roads.
Despite the stretched tires and use of wheel spacers rather than wider wheels, I like the no-nonsense look of this old VW. It’s clean and simple and is obviously driven every day by its loving owner, and that’s good enough for me.
I’ve seen quite a few modified vehicles that are apparently daily drivers lately, but this stood out in my mind as being very clean and tasteful overall. Although I don’t know who the owner is, I’ve developed quite a bit of respect for him (or her?)
Well done.

That is a nice corrado and for the ride height, there is saying, “if you ain’t rubbin’, you ain’t vee dubbin’” It takes a certain amount of balls to drive a car that low. The mk1 folks (for the most part) are also firm believers in “bags are for groceries” In other words, if you can raise your car at the touch of a button, you are cheating…
Not hating,but not low enough!
